She is survived by: her husband Tim Wilson; her daughters, Keria Wilson and Maddie Wilson; her mother Sue Wilson; her siblings, John Wilson and Gena Wilson; her niece Makala Stevens; and her uncle Ray Vaughn. She is also survived by many extended family members and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Tennessee Donor Services in Laneta's memory.

Since the day I moved in as a her neighbor, I thought she was the most beautiful human I'd ever met, with curly black hair, ruffled socks, and a beautiful red dress. As we grew older, each Friday she picked me up for school and we would wait until 7:30 on the dot to listen to "Finally Friday". The best of mornings. Spending time with Laneta watching her live her life to fullest. To know this lovely, lively spirit was a privilege”
