He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Raymond Amos, Sr. and Roberta Young Amos; and his brother Danny Franklin Amos. He is survived by: his wife Lori Amos; his children, Lester Raymond Amos III (Susan), Stanley Frank Amos, Derek Lyle Amos (Jennifer) and Emily Joy Underwood (James); his siblings, Mary Ruth Highsmith and Barry Lynn Amos; and his half-brother Raymond A. Amos (Laura). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Ray's honor to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
