She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward and Irma Joyce Woosley Dearing; her brothers, Charles Edward Dearing and Charles Elijah Dearing; her son Gregory Zahn; and her sister Charlotte Medley.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Zahn of Manchester, TN and Cecil Duke (Jaime) of Manchester, TN; her siblings, Nancy Womack (Gary) of Nashville, TN, Michele Hallman and Alan Dearing of Tracy City, TN; and her grandchildren, Emily Schomburg (Jonathan), Ryan Zahn (Kim), Skylar Collins, Mia Duke, Jozlin Floyd and Shane Duke. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the High's Chapel (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the High Funeral Home (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110).
