He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Johnson and Lola Mae Johnson; his wife Anna Ross Johnson; and his siblings, Fred, Leonard, Clayton, Herman, Sarah Miller, Ellen Keith, Juanita Henegar and Luree McMahan.
He is survived by: his children, Allene Lansford (Danny), Angela Davis (John), Ed Johnson (Candace) and L. A. Johnson, Jr.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to Bell Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund in care of Becky Shelton, 1541 M.G. England Rd., Manchester, Tennessee.
