He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Philpott and Grace Bush Philpott; his wife Ocil Lee Philpott; and his sibling Jarene Kimmons. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery Philpott (Viria), Larry Philpott (Tina) and Darin Philpott (Shelba); his siblings, Dale Philpott (Charlotte), Freida Ashcraft and Phyllis Peek (Winfred); his grandchildren, Christopher Claiborne, Jenna White (Jim), Forrest Philpott (Kaysie) and Jessie Frederick (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Ellis White, Wiley White, Aleia Frederick, Abran Frederick and Bennett Philpott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Central Funeral Home (2812 Hillsboro Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
