Norman E. Slater Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman E. Slater of Manchester, Tennessee, who passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred T. Slater and Martha "Mattie" Slater (Wright); and his siblings, Thelma Slater Moe, Robert Slater, Alfred Slater and Rubye Slater Dill.
He is survived by: his wife Nina Slater (Crawley); his sons, Archie Slater and Fred Slater (Peggy); and his grandchildren, Arch Slater Jr., Angie Slater Tomberlin (Brandon), Chris Slater (Amy), Michael Slater (Alison) and Meghan Slater Echols (Hayden). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
