He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Oakley and Patricia Harrell Oakley; his son Silas Oakley; and his sister Brenen Oakley Dukeman. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Brown Oakley; his daughter Shelly Maynard (Patrick) of Lynchburg; and his brother Rick Oakley of Knoxville. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
