With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reda M Smith (Manchester, Tennessee), born in Providence, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband T. Frank Smith; her sister Freda Kemp (Jim); and her brothers-in-law, Robert Melloy, Jim Kemp, Daryl Hendrix and Steve Linzy.

She is survived by: her children, John Smith (Sherrie), Lisa Estes (Marvin) and Lori Murphy (Jimbo); her sisters, Patricia Hendrix and Charlene Linzy; her siblings-in-law, Earl Melloy (Lisa), Sam Melloy (Linda) and Sandra Melloy; and her grandchildren, Elayne Smith, John Smith Jr., Bethany O'Brien, Marvin Estes Jr., Melissa Estes, BJ Murphy, Brett Murphy and Brady Murphy. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
