He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Naomi Waller Duke; his parents, Clyde Shofner Duke and Lois Almarie Stacey Greer; and his sister Dorotha Gay Sullivan. He is survived by: his sisters, Carroll Dean Duke and Wanda Duke King (Clayton); his children, Mark Duke (Susan), Keith Duke, Lori Moore (Geoff) and Karen Nabi (Ken); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Duke, Jonathon Duke (Sarah), Christine Duke, Hannah Duke, Ethan Duke (Kate), Faith Duke, Andrew Duke, Stephen Duke, Emily Foster (Jackson), Christopher Moore, Josiah Nabi (McKinley), Aidan Nabi, Ellis Nabi and Bennett Nabi; and his great grandchildren, Shiloh Duke, Julia Duke and Peter Nabi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, devoted caregivers, faithful neighbors, and cherished friends.
