He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Sartain and Gladys Sartain; his wife Kathy Sartain; and his siblings, Junior Sartain, Barbara Perry, Wynnectca Sartain and Bessie Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Angel Spry (David), Bubba Sartain (Rebecca), Pamela Morris (Jimmy), Chris Sartain and Stacy McMahan (late Daniel); and his brother Mark Sartain. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
