He was predeceased by: his parents, B. B. Simmons and Delphie Driver Simmons; and his siblings, David, Gilford, Preston Simmons, Mary Alice Green, Evelyn Hicks, Dolos Bass, Hazel Berryhill, Della Ann Dotson, Jean Storey and Maxine Glascoe.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Dean Simmons; his children, Carla Sue Simmons of Manchester, Chloe Frye of Manchester and Daryl Frye (Rebecca Dye) of Tullahoma; his brother Charles Simmons (Carol) of Manchester; his grandchildren, Justin and Catherine; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Kaylyn, Morgan, Emma and Hailey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home (401 N Jackson St, Tullahoma, TN 37388). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Concord Cemetery (82 Concord Rd, Tullahoma, TN 37388).
