He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cecil Tenley and Dorothy Virginia Smith Tenley; his sister Virginia Sweigert; and his brother-in-law Bud Noe. He is survived by: his wife Betty Kee Tenley; his children, Jesse Tenley (Megan) of Ridgeway, SC, Vince Cunningham (Angela) of Elizabethtown, KY and Matthew Tenley (Emma) of Mansfield, TN; his siblings, Karen Noe of Creston, OH, Barb Maibach (Rudy) of Creston, OH and David Boley (Laurie) of Creston, OH; and his pets, Nelson and Bella. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
