He was predeceased by: his parents, Clancy C. Yates and Edith Marie Carson Yates; and his brother Jerald C. Yates. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Burress Yates of Martin; and his daughters, Sonja Blake (David Penick) of Martin and Terry Darlene Rogers (Wayne) of Beebe, Arkansas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
