He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gwen Hayes; his brother Bill Hayes of Martin, TN; his parents, Jack Hayes and Ora Mae Utley Hayes; and his siblings, Samuel Hayes, Carlton Hayes, Robert Hayes, Jessy Hayes, Bridie Pierce, Marie Brady and Nora Lee Cashon. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
