With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Franklin Pitts of Martin, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2026 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Alma Lane Pitts (Grant); his grandson Zack Yarbrough; and his siblings, Jimmie L. Pitts, Jeffery W. Pitts, Cathy Pitts Graves, Patsy, Evelyn Kay and Monda Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Pitts of Martin; his daughters, Cindy Yarbrough (Tim) of Milan, Mandy Mayo (Charlie) of Atwood, Cassie Smith (Mike) of Nashville and Angie Degner (Jeff) of Bradford; and his stepchildren, Kelly Forsythe (Andy) of Greenfield and Michael Brown of Jackson. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
