He is survived by: his sons, Todd Covington of Martin, TN, Brien Covington of Martin, TN, Charles Covington (Rebecca) of Martin, TN and Joseph Covington of Dyersburg, TN; his grandchildren, Brett Covington of Martin, TN, Baylee Covington of Martin, TN, Macie Covington of Martin, TN, Channing Covington of Martin, TN, Elaine Covington of Martin, TN, Ashley Peters of Steele, MO, Katelyn Gunn of Sharon, TN and David Joseph Covington of Dyersburg, TN; and his close friend Dean Thaxton of Springfield, TN.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
