He was predeceased by : his daughter Texanna Vowell; and his father Morris Addington Vowell. He is survived by : his wife Carla Cheatham Vowell; his mother Mary Persley Vowell; and his siblings, Richard Vowell (Kathy) of Martin, Donald Vowell (Mary Alice) of Knoxville and Carolyn Williams (Barry) of Nashville. He is also survived by five nieces, five nephews and two Godsons.
