It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Carpenter of Martin, Tennessee, who passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Scates and Ruell Fuqua Scates; her sister June Wilson; and her nephew David Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Carpenter; her children, Scott Carpenter (Stephanie) of Martin and Dana Hargrove (Troy) of Manchester, TN; and her grandchildren, Brett Evans, Brooke Evans, Cameron Carpenter and Ellie Kate Carpenter.
