He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Watkins and Mildred Watkins; and his sister Kay Moreland. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kirk Watkins of Martin; his children, Ken Watkins (Sharon) of Columbia, SC, David Watkins (Jennie) of Morristown, TN, Teresa Garner (Ed) of Maryville, TN and John Watkins (Leigh) of Paris, TN; his grandchildren, Will Watkins, Alex Watkins (Taylor), Austin Watkins, Rachel Garner and Cara Garner; and his great grandchild John Henry Watkins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (201 Mt Pelia Rd, Martin, TN 38237). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
