She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Moen and Bertha Pointen Moen; her husband Rev. Billy Gene Swanson; and her sisters, Marie Getts and Delores Francis.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Swanson (Sharon) of Woodlawn, TN and Debbie Barger (Allen) of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
