Barbara R. Carpenter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara R. Carpenter of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 22, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Riden and Eunice Riden; and her husband Jack Carpenter. She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Riden and Marilyn Smith; her children, Stan (Shirley Carpenter), Scott Carpenter (Peg Hambright), Janet Luttrell and Kae Carpenter; her grandchildren, Brad Luttrell, Monique, Jason Luttrell, Amanda, Johna Johnson, Casey, Hunter Todd and Krystin; her great grandchildren, Chloe Noonan, Cara Bailey, Kenneth Bailey, Jr., Emma Luttrell, Lila Todd and Willa Todd; and her friend Lillian Lonas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Red Cross in Maryville at 300 E Church Ave, Maryville, TN 37804.
