It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Tipton of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 21, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Mitchell and Ruby Mitchell (Teffeteller); her spouse Dewell Tipton; and her siblings, Janie Bell and Douglas "Bob" Mitchell (Doris).

She is survived by: her brothers, James Mitchell (Anna Raye) and Howard; and her sibling-in-law Tipton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Oak Street Baptist Church, PO Box 1117, Alcoa, TN 37701.
