With sadness, we share the passing of Barybee Smiddy of Maryville, Tennessee. Barybee, born on February 27, 1944 in Evarts, Kentucky, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Smiddy Jr.; her parents, Louie Helton and Maxine Helton; and her brothers, Allen Helton, Tony Helton, Lee Helton, Steven Helton and Glen Helton.
She is survived by: her son Glen F. Smiddy (Kathy); her grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez (Adam) and Glen F. Smiddy II; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Mackenzie, Andrew and Adam II; and her sisters, Linda Knopp (David) and Mary Ayscue.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Barrington (149 W Main St, Barrington, IL 60010). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Davenport Family Funeral Home (149 W Main St, Barrington, IL 60010).
