With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Clay Smith of Maryville, Tennessee, born in Lebanon, Tennessee, who passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Zane "Elmo" Smith; and her parents, Charles Clay and Louise Clay. She is survived by : her sons, Kevin Coward and Randy Coward; her stepsons, Zane Smith (Pam), Gary Smith, Brian Smith (Susan) and Marcus Smith (Melanie); and her grandchildren, Amanda Stockman (Logan), Cory Coward, Erisha Abbott (Tyler), Ciarra Smith (Kyle), Cody Smith, Hope Smith Christina Davis (Michael), Scott Linginfelter (Neisha) and Dylan Stratton (Heather). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
