He was predeceased by: his mother Adeline Smalls Durant; his brother Walter James Durant (Sue Anne); and his father William James Durant. He is survived by: his cousin Hermene Hampton; his sister Rosemary Durant; his nephew Fredrick D. Giles (Trellani); and his great-nephews, Christian of Atlanta, GA. and Princeton of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by Aunt Flora's children.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Foothills Funeral Home (910 E Lincoln Rd, Maryville, TN 37804).
