He was predeceased by: his parents, Heyward Hill and Julia Hill; and his parents-in-law, J. W. and Edith Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Hill; his children, Patti Hill (Jim Grimes) of Maryville and Charles P. Hill II; his daughter-in-law Tara Hill of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Kelsey Riggs (Cody) of Maryville, Charles P. Hill III (Amber) of Maryville and Kaitlyn Hill of Maryville; his great grandchild Aria Jane Riggs; his siblings, Sonny Hill of Knoxville and Kathy; and his brother-in-law David Metler of Knoxville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Trinity Chapel (1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
