He was predeceased by : his wife Teresa Dixon Hammontree; and his parents, Clarence Hammontree and Linda Hammontree Thomas Greene. He is survived by : his children, Kelly Leslie (Jordan), Mitchell Hammontree and Julie Proctor (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Kairi, Danica, Henry and Hudson; and his sisters, Angela Barth (Billy) and Lisa Jackson (Michael).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (915 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel (915 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801).
