It is with sadness that the passing of Don Carlos Garner (Maryville, Tennessee) is shared. Don, born on January 17, 1933, passed away on October 4, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don Carlos Garner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Garner and Stella Garner; the mother of his children Patsy Shields Garner; his daughter Lisa Garland; his granddaughter Amanda Satterfield; and his siblings, Fred, Ray, Glen and Mildred Poplin.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Garner; his children, Donna Satterfield (Doug), Belva Hill (Mike) and Doug Garner (Susie); and his grandchildren, Millie, Mikala, Brandon, Darren, Michael, Aaron and John Clay. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (724 N Dunlap St, Maryville, TN 37801).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kagley Chapel Baptist Church Veteran Memorial or Gideon Bibles.
