She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Elizabeth Hutsell and Cecil Edward Hutsell; and her siblings, Buddy Hutsell, Don Hutsell, Dale Hutsell, Mary Dae Payne, Ada Roberts and Edna Gallagher.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Wood (Joe) of Greenback and Traci McDonell of Maryville; her grandchildren, Mikayla Wood-Cornelius (Alex) of Knoxville and Nicholas Wood of Iwakuni, Japan; her sister Bobbi Dishman of Knoxville; her brother-in-law Jimmy McDonell (Wanda) of Maryville; and her pet BooBoo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Springview Baptist Church (4220 US-411, Maryville, TN 37801). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Williamson Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery (1331 Williamson Chapel Rd, Maryville, TN 37801).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Doris's honor to the Blount County Humane Society.
