He was predeceased by: his parents, Murriel Steele and Stella Steele Best; and his sister Bobbie Jean Downey. He is survived by: his daughter Misti; his son-in-law Jake Russell of Maryville; his grandchildren, Hunter Russell (Samantha), Julian Russell (Emily Conrad) and Brooke Russell (Jacob Gaddis); his great grandchild Jonah Douglas Russell of Maryville; and his close friends, Mike Herron and Darryl Downey. He is also survived by two loving nieces, several great-nieces and great-nephews.
