She was predeceased by: her parents, James Turpin and Margaret Turpin; her husband Arthur Allen Murphy; and her sister Katherine Hill. She is survived by: her daughter Tonia Nadine Covington (John); her great grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Grace Covington and Kameron Bradley Covington; and her siblings, Ellen Blair, Ruby Murphy and Billy Turpin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (915 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801). A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
