He is survived by: his wife Michele Ross Johnston; his children, Rhyne Johnston (Ansley), Sydney Harrell (Landon) and Gavin Ross; his sister Carol Smith; and his close friends, James "Fuzz" Asbury, Lance Curtis, Kenneth "Freight" McCollum and Mark "Kram" Myer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
