He is survived by: his wife Libby Thompson Cooper; his children, Chris Cooper (Beth) and Kerry Barnhill; his grandchildren, Mason Barnhill, Mary Cooper, Olivia Cooper and Jackson Cooper; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Benson (Jake) and Mary Beth Wilson (Mike); his stepgrandchildren, Claire, Cameron, Gavin and Ava Rose; his nieces, Emily Cooper and Mandy Cooper-Enix; and his sister-in-law Debby Lankford.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Click Funeral Home (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771).
