He is survived by: his brother Marvin Self of Chattanooga, TN; his sister-in-law Kay Self of Chattanooga, TN; his nephew Richard (Josh Self); and his niece Amanda Anderson (Phillip) of Maryville, TN. He is also survived by thirteen great nephews and nieces.
