She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Beaty (Bob) and Lola Colvin Beaty; her former husband Rev. Wayne Tate; her husband Eugene Shaw; her brother Creed; her sister-in-law Dorthy Arden Beaty; her sister Elizabeth Watson; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette (Jim McCracken) and Charlie Walker.
She is survived by: her sister June Walker; her children, Yvonne Bryant and Wesley Tate; and her grandchildren, Jeffery, Laine Bryant, Phillip, Abby Bryant, Tiffany Hernandez, Ean, Meado and Mason Tate. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
