He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary T. Cargile and Lester L. Cargile. He is survived by: his wife Kay Cargile; his son Lynn; his daughter-in-law Lisa Cargile of Greenback; his granddaughters, Heather Cargile of Greenback and Kayla (Austin Shubert) of Kodak; his great grandchild Beau Shubert; and his stepsons, Christopher Cooper of Lenoir City and Todd Cooper of Maryville.
An entombment was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Mausoleum Chapel (2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803).
