We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 82, Lonnie Edward Cooper of Maryville, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lonnie Edward Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Cooper and Mary Cooper; and his brother Danah Cooper. He is survived by: his significant other Phyllis Turner Cooper; his daughters, Tanya Cooper (Rick Tuck) and Teresa Farmer (Marcus); his grandchildren, Andrew, Amelia Farmer and Eliga Cooper; and his brother-in-law Melvin Turner (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces and a nephew, and many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (1102 Big Springs Rd, Maryville, TN 37801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens (3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701). An entombment will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, make a donation in memory of Lonnie to the Blount 4-H or FFA clubs or to The Pat Summitt Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
