He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lucius Williams Hart and Virginia Merrill Hart. He is survived by: his wife Jane Hart; his sister Fredina Cornett (David); his children, Phillip Hart (Jenny) and Cynthia Urquhart (Kenny); and his stepdaughters, Sarah Mundo (Mark) and Autumn McCray (Jesse). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Chapel at Smith Funeral & Cremation (1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Lucius Edward Hart, 82, passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord on September 4, 2026, at his home in Maryville, Tennessee, after a three-year battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's Disease.
