She was predeceased by : her siblings, Diane Blackman, Lewis and Larry Blackman; and her parents, Lewis Blackman and Rosetta Blackman.

She is survived by : her husband Danny; her sons, David Lee Merrett (Kathy), Dennis C. Merrett and Daniel Anderson (Candace); her sister Sherry Wells; and her brother-in-law Doc.
