It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mack Hughes of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mack Hughes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lonnie Hughes and Lena Koons Hughes; his siblings, Charlie Ben Hughes, Clarence Hughes, Tony Hughes, Obey Hughes, Howard Hughes and Ruth Jenkins; his stepdaughter Jamie Newcomb; and his son-in-law Andre Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Faye Hughes; his sons, Doug Hughes and Johnnie Hughes; and his sisters, Betty Whitehead and Ruby Hughes. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer to have people donate to the American Cancer Society.
