She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Walter B., Laura Bailey Bacon, Richard and Dora Coffman Petty; her parents, Hubert Earl Bacon Sr. and Thelma Petty Bacon; and her brother Hubert Earl Bacon Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Dodson; and her siblings, Barbara Lee, Jeanine Hall, Rita Brooks and Rickey Bacon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to your favorite charity.
