We bid farewell to Monte E. Welker of Maryville, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 15, 2026 at the age of 91. Monte touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Monte may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Monte touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Welker and Teresa Amrine Welker Smith of Vermont; his sister Nancy Sue Welker; and his daughter Cynthia Carol Welker. He is survived by: his wife Janice Welker of Maryville, TN; and his daughter Julie Lynn Welker of Knoxville, TN.
