He is survived by: his wife Minnie Lois "Polly" Christopher; his daughter Dana Sanders (Mark); his grandchildren, Chase (Krystal), Chad (Darla), Kristen (Ian) and Kurt (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Shiloh, Owen, Nathan, Nolan, Colton and Daxon.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (1102 Big Springs Rd, Maryville, TN 37801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Russell Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
