Richard Denton Obituary
Richard Denton left to join God"s Army on October 9, 2017. He loved God, his family, and his church Broadway Baptist, Maryville, TN. Richard served his country in the Army and later retired from Rentenbach Engineering. Richard loved serving other"s needs. He spent countless hours doing mission work with his church and world changers both locally and out of state.
He touched many lives with his unselfishness, loving smile, and just by being in his very presence. Richard was proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Larston Oakley Denton Sr., and Susie Denton; Brothers Larston Oakley Denton Jr., and Earl Denton, children Bud Denton, Donna Hamilton, Denise Ford, (son-in-law James Ford), and Grandson Micah Ford.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Glenna Maples Denton; children Jonathon Denton, Dion Denton Hunt, Tim Denton, Dewayne Denton, loving daughter-in-laws Patti Denton and Linda Denton. Grandchildren; Scott Denton, Trevor Denton, Crisi Manley, (and Jason), Jeremy Denton, (and Sam), Kelyn Denton (and Zachry Vercher), Todd Hunt (and Trisha), Jami Holloman (and Chris), Taylor Denton, Cate Denton, Ashley Denton, Allen Denton, and Halie Sires.
