She is survived by: her husband Rick Deer; her daughters, Amanda Zempleni (Brandon) and Angela Hyatt; her grandchildren, Gavin Hyatt, Addison Hall, Owen Zempleni and Iden Zempleni; and her brother Thomas Ellis.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Trinity Chapel. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery (2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803).
