Though Teresa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Teresa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James DeBord and Mildred DeBord; and her husband Gary Sampsel. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Lynch (Darrell); her grandchildren, Cody Lynch and Hannah Lynch; and her close friend Pat Baker. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel (915 W Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37801). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
