He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Harmes and Lois Harmes (Garrard); his wife Mary Harmes (Lennartz) of Maryville; his children, Jason Harmes (Stacey) of Trinity and Jessica Nelson (Erik) of Anderson Township; and his grandchildren, Nic Gilg, Max Nelson, Devin Nelson and Riley Nelson.
