He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Lambdin and William "Harve" Lambdin; his sisters, Opal Ridenour, Mable Ridenour, Martha Asher, Dorothy Burns, Margaret Christopher and Anna Ruth Combs; his former wife Barbra "Bobbie Jo" Lambdin; his daughter Kimberly Parton; and his granddaughter Heather Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lambdin; his grandchildren, Keeley Stephens (Matt), Austin Parton (Kristen) and Blake Garland (Faith); his son-in-law Rod Parton; his great grandchildren, Ainsley and Carson Stephens; his stepchildren, Carla Howard (Mike), Richard Eidson and Clint Eidson; his grandsons, Alex Eidson, Jacob Allen and Justin Howard (Abby); his sisters, Hazel Minton and Wilma Evans; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Cromwell and Frank Long (Annette); his cousin John Myers (Dot); his close friends, Art, Darlene Gartman, David and Karen Williams; Laura. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Chapel (1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Veteran's Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
