He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth; his children, Tonya Stiles (Scott), Penny Cherry (Mark Shaver) and Baron Mayes; his great grandchildren, Jessica, Emma Stiles, Brooke, Taylor Chamberlain (Dallas), Kellie Stiles (Emma), Peyton, Kelsie Cherry, Paxton Cherry (Maddy Lester), Blake, Michael Palmer (Mason), Madison and Riley Shipe (Wrenley); and his sister Betty Jane Mayes.
