He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gosnell and Alberta Gosnell; his son William Scott Gosnell; and his brother Jimmy Gosnell. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Foster Gosnell; his daughter Jamie Ramsey (Josh); his brother Glen Gosnell (Audrey); his sisters-in-law, Shirley Greenlee (Tommy) and Kathy Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Macy Jo Gosnell, Jacob Ramsey and Legend Derry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clear Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (3709 Clear Springs Rd, Mascot, TN 37806).
